Cancellation Policy

What You Need to Know

We understand that life happens. Illness, emergencies, family situations, and circumstances outside of your control can come up unexpectedly. We will always do our best to work with our families when there are legitimate special circumstances.

At the same time, Action Reaction Goaltending is a small business, and our ice time and coaching staff are booked based on the number of goalies registered for each session. We also make it a priority to maintain low goalie-to-coach ratios so that every athlete receives the level of instruction and attention they deserve.

Last-minute cancellations can leave us responsible for ice and coaching costs while also making it difficult… or impossible… to fill the open spot.

For that reason, the following cancellation policy applies:

More Than 48 Hours Before Your Session

If you cancel more than 48 hours before your scheduled session, there will be no cancellation fee or penalty.

Between 24–48 Hours Before Your Session

If you cancel between 24 and 48 hours before your scheduled session, you will be responsible for 50% of the total session cost.

This helps cover the ice and coaching expenses that have already been committed.

Less Than 24 Hours / Same-Day Cancellation

If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled session, including same-day cancellations, you will be responsible for 100% of the session cost.

Replacing Your Spot

Whenever possible, we will make every reasonable effort to fill a cancelled spot with another goalie. However, we cannot guarantee that a replacement will be available, particularly with short notice.

Special Circumstances

We understand that exceptional situations do happen, and we will always approach legitimate emergencies and special circumstances reasonably and on a case-by-case basis.

Our cancellation policy is not intended to punish anyone. It simply allows us to properly schedule our coaching staff, maintain the goalie-to-coach ratios our programs are built around, and continue providing first-class goalie development to every athlete and family who trains with us.

We greatly appreciate your understanding, respect for our coaches' time, and continued support of Action Reaction Goaltending.

Payment & GST: All payments requiring an invoice or receipt are subject to the applicable 5% GST.
